When you're using ClearForms and have built out one or more workflows and are testing them or you've launched your first workflow with the public you may notice that the first column in your Dashboard is blank.
It will appear that way until you select an "Identifier Field" for each of your workflows. The purpose of the Identifier Field is to allow you to quickly glance at your Dashboard and see which processes are which. You select which field will be the Identifier Field for each workflow. For example for a building permit you might select the street address for where the work will be performed but for a business license you might want the business name to be the Identifier.
After you've set the Identifier Field you'll see a much more useful version of your Dashboard! And be sure to toggle on Public Identifier if you'd also like to make your applicants' dashboards easier for them to use.
